It’s an itch that can never be fully scratched.

I’ve been designing jewelry for 25 years, but for much of that time I had others bring my ideas to life. I finally started making my own pieces and fell in love with the process — the way metal moves and has its own character, the color and spirit of gemstones. Bringing an idea to completion while letting it change along the way.

My process begins with a vision, not a drawing.

The name 4 Quart comes from the idea that creation is both measured and intuitive, like cooking. A chef knows the fundamentals, but the best things come from instinct.
